		<description>Kudos to Kali! I&#039;m from MO too and people don&#039;t understand vegetarianism here very well. I remember when I was in high school (not that long ago!) my only option was to sign up for a salad in the morning before lunch. It was a huge bowl of iceberg lettuce and shredded carrots. I USUALLY got my &quot;special&quot; salad - minus cold cubed ham - but sometimes I just had to pick it off. Fortunately, I eased into my lifestyle so it didn&#039;t scar me too badly. :) During a time in your life when it&#039;s hard to have a voice, I commend you for using yours!</description>
