Hello. Do you know whether all of these restaurants have options for Vegans? The last time I checked Subway didn’t have anything other than salad. Their bread contained butter and their wrap sandwiches contained whey. Has that changed?
    Thanks!

Last time I checked, Taco Bell had gelatin in all of their products with sour cream. In light of this, I’m a bit confused about the high vote for them.

  3. Al says:

According to their head office Subway’s Italian bread is vegan. All of their other breads have cheese and/or butter but the plain old Italian is vegan.
Not the greatest sandwich around but when traveling is a handy option.

I think this list should be divided into best Vegan and best Vegetarian Chains, and not combined. My wife and I are vegans and one of the best chains we’ve discovered recently for us is Toojays Deli. They have at least 10 different vegan entree options on their menu. Some you have to just order without the cheese. They have a section of their menu entitled “Vegetarian”. I had a Mediteranian Pita which was vegan and all raw as well. Delicious.
