This is so true that Oxalic acid is the main key factor for kidney stones . Oxalic acid tends to bond with minerals in body and create crystals and thus , in most cases , kidney stones are created in human bodies . Though we know that Spinach has enough food value but this is also true that it comes with Oxalic acid . Randomly consuming it may cause several side affects . black pepper also comes with Oxalic acid . However , thnX for the informative post .

So, after reading this article, I am wondering what the oxalic acid content is in popular vegetarian products such as the Morningstar Farms products, and Boca products. I too am a vegetarian who has been told to go on a low oxalic acid diet, but I don't eat tofu. Thanks!
