Thank you so much! Very helpful post. I'm traveling to Sarasota for the first time and have never been in a Publix Supermarket. Now I know I won't have any problems finding vegetarian and vegan foods. And they carry my favorite brand - Gardein - meat and poultry alternatives. Appreciate your help!

Macabee Kosher Eggplant Cutlets are not vegan it may be contaminated with eggs and milk as a by-product from processors that use eggs and milk, clearly written on the box!
Vegan means no dairy, eggs, fish or meat products. Please call it vegetarian not vegan. Some people get a life threatening allergenic reaction to dairy and egg products, even if its only slightly contaminated with egg or milk products!
Calling it vegan is not to be taken lightly. It gives the consumer a false sense of security about these products. I hope you take more caution in preparing your product list so the consumer can proudly call your product list truly vegan.
Thanks for listening
