They serve various types of paratha (wheat dough filled with spices & potato, carrot, or cauliflower) and plenty of chaat (flat crisps served with potato, onions, chutney, etc). They offer some Indo-Chinese dishes such as fried rice and vegetable noodles.

Coco Bean sells vegan and gluten-free cupcakes, muffins, and other pastries. Coffee grounds are composted, and there’s always extra to take home to your garden!

Try the Very Vegan Pizza which has crimini mushrooms, roasted garlic, organic tomato sauce, and soy cheese (casein-free). Or build your own pizza with topping choices like roasted eggplant, kalamata olives, sundried tomatoes, sauteed spinach, and vegan soy cheese. The motto at Pizza Fusion is, "Saving the Earth, One Pizza at a Time" and that's not just a slogan. Examples of how they promote sustainability include: using company-owned hybrid vehicles for food deliveries; giving customers discounts for bringing back their pizza boxes for recycling; using spudware utensils, made from potatoes, which biodegrade in 50 days; and offsetting their energy use by purchasing wind energy certificates.

Sanctuary Brewing Company is so much more than your average brewery or vegan restaurant because it goes beyond great food and brews to encompass animal rights philosophy and advocacy. They are an active part of the community that promotes animal welfare by partnering with organizations and provides cruelty free foods from local producers. The owners encourage their customers to adopt pets rather than breed them, become vegetarian or vegan, and to donate to and volunteer at local animal shelters.

Vegetarian. Root has evolved in its short life from a “grab-and-go” to more of counter-service, eat-in establishment. While the menu is limited in options, there is plenty of variety for eclectic taste buds. Among the most popular is the Bourbon Burger, made from sweet potatoes and beans, topped with cashew cheese and in-house bourbon ketchup. It comes with a side of sweet potato chips or kale. The Marakesh is a quinoa and curried lentil mix with a Mid-Eastern flare. Buffalo Cauliflower is another big hit with sticks of the vegetable prepared with an in-house buffalo sauce and vegan blue cheese.

American. Sealevel City Gourmet is a sushi bar and restaurant offering something for everyone. Located in a small shopping plaza right off 117 makes Sealevel City Gourmet a convenient stop. Try the vegan taco dinner, kale nachos (without the cheese to be vegan), or a veggie dog serveed multiple ways. Sealevel City Gourmet also offers over 10 vegan sushi rolls!

Sample vegetable patia (vegetables cooked with sweet and sour mangos and a touch of ginger), palak paneer (spinach with or without Indian cheese), mushroom broccoli krahi (sautéed with vegetables, garlic, and herbs), Bombay potatoes, eggplant bharta (baked, then mashed and sautéed with garlic, onions, and tomatoes), and much more.
