Vegan/organic. Aux Vivres features local and organic ingredients on their all-vegan menu. Their eclectic range of dishes includes everything from authentic ethnic cuisine to soul food. Enjoy the BLT (made with coconut bacon), Tempeh Burger, or Chili. Art fills the walls of this restaurant while remaining informal enough for children and great for large groups of people. There is also a little shop area near the entrance where you can buy products, order beverages, and pick up food for take-out. Aux Vivres is located in the Plateau area.

Vegetarian/natural foods/organic. This small eatery offers a rustic and cozy atmosphere in which to enjoy their vegetarian food. All meals are handmade daily in their kitchen and are mostly organic. Tasty menu items include the Reuben Tempeh Wrap, Vege-pate Sandwich, and Boca Burger. Bonnys also features a take-out freezer with fresh frozen dishes. The eatery is located in St-Henri right in front of the Corona Theater.

Stop in for a hearty breakfast with the Tofu Scramble Burrito and a Dairy Free Cappuccino. Or try some of the vegan versions of other classic dishes throughout the day. Options include the Mushroom Galaxy Burger, Organic Quinoa Chili, or Vegan Poutine. Be sure to check out the smoothie and dessert menus as well. All dishes are available gluten free, but organic Kamut bread is also available.

Along with offering cooking and nutrition classes, Crudessence has a small restaurant that offers a large selection of entrées to allow anyone who enters to take part in a delicious raw, vegan, and organic diet. Try the Squash Cannelloni stuffed with macadamia ricotta and fresh basil, or a sandwich on sprouted buckwheat and sun-dried tomato bread. Choose from an assortment of desserts like the lime pie, which is made of lime and lemon-based avocado mousse in a macadamia nut crust. Mmmm!
