5) VRG HIGHLIGHTS

Last month our interns designed and taught at workshop about vegan diets at Tuttie's Place, a summer program for underserved Baltimore City youth. The participants were ages 5 — 21.

The Vegetarian Resource Group had a public outreach booth at the 32nd Street Farmers Market (Waverly) in Baltimore, Maryland.

We did a booth at the Jaina Convention in Edison, New Jersey. There was a noticeable shift towards veganism this year, as generally Jains are vegetarian, but not vegan. Many people were excited to learn more about vegan diets.
