This remains true for chilies used in vegan recipes, whether it be\nin a red salsa, salad, or any other dish. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; There is also a wide variety of chili\ntypes, and while some are often served stuffed, others are more commonly used\ncooked and ground. Here is one example of how to use jalape\u00f1o peppers in a\nvegan dish: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Chilies Stuffed with Beans <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>(4 servings)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Recipe provided by Odette Olivares Sanchez, VRG Intern<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ingredients:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4\njalape\u00f1o peppers, with veins removed (without seeds)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1\/2\nonion, sliced<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2\ncups water<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3\nTablespoons of vinegar<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2\ncups of refried beans<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1\ncup of cooked and seasoned brown rice<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1\nLaurel leaf (bay leaf)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vegan\nshredded cheese to taste<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Salt to taste<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recipe instructions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fry\nchilies and onions for 5 minutes. Later, add water and vinegar. Add Bay leaf\nand salt to taste.
