These companies take plant sterols and synthetically modify\nthem to make cholesterol. Pfizer-BioNTech may have used one of these companies.\nModerna released this statement:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe Moderna COVID 19 Vaccine\ncontains no preservatives, no antibiotics, and no products from human or animal\norigin.\u201d The Moderna COVID-19 vaccine also contains cholesterol.
