Everything is environmentally friendly, from the 100% vegan,\n100% gluten free (including pastas and breads) menu, to the light, modern,\nplant-filled d\u00e9cor \u2014 right down to the plaster. In an outdoor seating area\n(which the owners plan to turn into a greenhouse), they grow their own herbs in\naeroponic towers, and other ingredients are sourced locally where possible.\nEnjoy a multi-course meal based on expertly prepared vegetables and clean\nproteins: a starter such as a mushroom board with marinated mushroom salad, a\nspreadable mushroom cheese, and oyster mushroom &#8216;bacon\u2019, followed by salads or\nsoups, an entr\u00e9e such as braised and seasoned eggplant \u2018steak\u2019 served with\nparsnip-potato puree and roasted asparagus, and a dessert such as chocolate\ncake. Jim Wu (Papa) began his plant-based lifestyle 15 years\nago but has been cooking for over 40 years, and he brings that passion and\nexperience to the Asian Fusion menu, which caters to a variety of appetites\n(offering small plates, a la carte, and combo platters) and tastes. The sushi\nrolls (some of which are gluten-free) are customer favorites, as are the\ndumplings. \u201cChick\u2019n\u201d is used in many of the dishes, but tofu and an abundance\nof vegetables are also staple ingredients. Their menu includes traditional West African dishes such\nas egusi soup served with a soft and doughy fufu and jollof rice with a choice\nof veggies. Their Wasota vegan platter serves two and includes a variety of\nitems including black-eyed peas, fried plantain, spinach, and jollof rice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>WeVegan\nEats, 4326 South Manhattan Ave., Tampa, FL 33611<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>WeVegan Eats is a 100% vegan bakery that offers a large\nselection of cookies, brownies, muffins, and quick breads. Favorites include\nunique flavors such as ube (purple yam) cookies, Coquito cookies based on the\ntraditional holiday drink, and Oreo cookie bombs. Classic sweet baked goods are\nalso available including chocolate chunk cookies, chocolate espresso brownies,\nand banana nut bread. The bakery offers a full-service espresso bar as well as\nonline ordering for shipments throughout the US.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Wicked\nBOLD, 3347 Long Prairie Rd., Unit 3347, Flower Mound, TX 75028<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wicked BOLD combines a chocolate factory, a vegan\nrestaurant, and North Texas\u2019 first sober bar. Family run (and named \u201cBOLD\u201d\nafter the first letter of each family member\u2019s name), they specialize in\nhand-crafted food and drinks.
