Some items\nare served in a fried plantain bowl!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pure Vegan Caf\u00e9, 716 Slash Pine Dr., Cary, NC 27519 and 8369 Creedmoor Rd., Raleigh, NC 27613<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Inspired by both a loved one\u2019s illness\nand Ayurvedic principles, the caf\u00e9\u2019s founder aims to bring healthy (and tasty)\noptions to her community. Although probably best known for its fresh juices and\nacai bowls, Pure Vegan Caf\u00e9 offers something for everyone. Both locations offer\nthe extensive menu, complete with breakfast items such as gluten-free waffles\nand avocado toast; burgers and fries; chick\u2019n sandwiches; and, of course,\njuices, shots &amp; elixirs, smoothies, and acai bowls. There is even a kids\u2019 menu.\nWhether you keep coming back for your favorite item or you want to sample all\nthe offerings over time, Pure Vegan Caf\u00e9 will likely become a regular stop on\nyour restaurant rotation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sea Salt and Cinnamon, 100 S. Walnut St., Muncie, IN 47305<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This vegan bakery offers both sweet and\nsavory items. A variety of sweet items are available including macarons,\ncinnamon rolls, cupcakes, and pies. Classic flavors are available such as mint\nchocolate chip brownies and pumpkin pie, but the restaurant creates special\ndishes for any event. Custom cakes can also be designed for weddings,\nbirthdays, and other events. In addition to their storefront, the restaurant\nsells items at farmer\u2019s markets and partner locations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sharks Cove, 3612 SE 82nd Ave., Portland, OR 97266<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bringing tropical vibes from Hawaii,\nSharks Cove food truck serves up education about shark conservation (especially\non their Instagram @sharkscove_pdx) alongside a rich array of flavors. Options\nin their regular menu \u2014all served with vibrantly colored flowers,\nmini-umbrellas etc. \u2014 include jackfruit nachos with tropical fruits and\nveggies; vegan coconut shrimp; beer battered fishless sandwiches; and, for\ndessert, island raspberry cheesecake made by local favorites Muse. They also\nhave sample platters available and special weekend brunch menus. Many clearly\nmarked gluten free options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Hardcore Hippie, Wilmington, NC (location varies)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Often found at local breweries and\nfestivals, The Hardcore Hippie takes over the non-vegan NachoFalt\u2019s truck once\na week (carefully cleaning and using separate knives etc. to avoid\ncross-contamination), to serve up, healthy food at affordable prices.\nConstantly experimenting with their menu, check social media to see their\nlatest creations.
