The California Strawberry Commission was sampling this dish:<\/p>\n<p>INGREDIENTS<br \/>\n6 lbs Fresh California strawberries, stemmed and chopped<br \/>\n2 1\/4 pounds plum tomatoes, chopped<br \/>\n1 1\/2 pounds English cucumber, peeled, seeded and chopped<br \/>\n9 cloves garlic<br \/>\n3 jalape&ntilde;o peppers<br \/>\n1 1\/2 cups Sherry vinegar<br \/>\nSalt and black pepper as needed.<\/p>\n<p>DIRECTIONS<br \/>\nTo make Strawberry Gazpacho, in blender, pur&eacute;e strawberries, tomatoes, cucumbers, garlic, jalape&ntilde;os and vinegar. Season with salt and pepper. Yield: 24 cups.
