Below are two hot drinks you can prepare quickly in your microwave. These recipe are from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vrg.org\/bookstore\/index.php?main_page=product_info&#038;cPath=1&#038;products_id=5\">Vegan Microwave Cookbook<\/a>, by Chef Nancy Berkoff. You can purchase this creative cookbook from The Vegetarian Resource Group here: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vrg.org\/catalog\/\">http:\/\/www.vrg.org\/catalog\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Cinnamon Hot Chocolate<\/strong><br \/>\n(Serves 4)<\/p>\n<p>1 quart soy or rice milk<br \/>\n2 ounces unsweetened chocolate powder (about 4 Tablespoons)<br \/>\n\u00bc cup organic sugar<br \/>\n1 teaspoon vanilla extract<br \/>\n2 teaspoons ground cinnamon<\/p>\n<p>Place all the ingredients in a 2-quart container or bowl and stir.<br \/>\nMicrowave on HIGH for 5 minutes or until hot. Stir and serve.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mowcow Tea<\/strong><br \/>\n(Serves 3)<\/p>\n<p>1 teaspoon orange juice concentrate<br \/>\n\u00bd teaspoon organic sugar<br \/>\n2 Tablespoons instant tea (powdered)<br \/>\n\u00bc teaspoon ground cloves<br \/>\n\u00bc teaspoon cinnamon<br \/>\n4 cups water<\/p>\n<p>In a small cup mix together all the ingredients except the water.<br \/>\nStir well to combine and set aside.<br \/>\nPlace water in a large container or 2-quart casserole and boil. (This should take 3-4 minutes, depending on your microwave.)<br \/>\nStir tea mixture into water until well blended.
