Job Description:
\nAssist with the operations of a vegan restaurant. The ideal candidate will have significant restaurant management experience and extensive knowledge of a vegan diet and lifestyle, including health aspects and animal advocacy issues. <\/p>\n
Duties & Responsibilities:
\n– Opening and closing the restaurant
\n– Assist with the hiring and training of staff
\n– Schedule employees in relation to customer flow
\n– Coordinate activities and side jobs of staff
\n– Ensure that employees are performing their jobs correctly and efficiently
\n– Ensure that the highest standards of cleanliness are maintained in the premises at all times
\n– Oversee the budget
\n– Maintain inventory, ordering food and supplies
\n– Maintain equipment and facility
\n– Ensure that correct food holding temperatures are maintained, that refrigeration units and steam tables are functioning properly
\n– Secure the premises and the inventory
\n– Serve food and beverages, including alcohol
\n– Ensure that customers are served in a timely manner
\n– Address complaints from staff and customers
\n– Monitor the quality of ingredients, meals, restaurant environment and service
\n– Assist with food preparation and cooking as needed
\n– Ensure dating and proper rotation of stock
\n– Assist with publicity and promotions
\n– Maintain and interactive and friendly atmosphere with customers and employees
\n– Identify ways to measure and improve system performance<\/p>\n
