ROSIE WEISS AT UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND WINS $500 VEGETARIAN RESOURCE GROUP SCHOLARSHIP
A week of eating exclusively from the salad bar led Rosie to meet with the U of Richmond head dietitian. She then was accepted as a Micro-Farm and Sustainable Dining Intern. She helped shepherd sustainable food by connecting campus-grown produce with university dining services. Rosie will be transferring to Georgetown University, and then law school, pursuing a program focused on international environmental regulation. Rosie was a former high school college winner.
