Praise From New Subscribers
I am subscribing after reading my first issue of your publication. I loved the recipes and articles. I am especially pleased to note that your magazine is free of advertising. It has bothered me to notice lately that in other vegetarian magazines there is a huge amount of advertising from herb and supplement companies whose products are not vegetarian — they are in nearly every case in a beef- or pork-derived gelatin capsule — but you won't find mention of that in the ad or on the product label.

So, I'm very happy to subscribe to your magazine knowing that you will not mislead your readers with advertising from such companies. Also, not relying on advertisers gives you complete freedom of editorial content. Keep up the good work, I look forward to my next issue.

Hello. I just wanted to let you know that I think you are doing a great job informing people about vegetarianism. I have been a vegetarian for about 5 years now and everyone in my family thinks I'm crazy because we live in Wisconsin, which is big on cheese and meat as you probably know. I was looking on the Net to find some type of organization to belong to and I found you. You're doing a great job informing people. Keep up the good work!
