Soyfoods books are certainly sprouting up all over these days. The Soy Gourmet offers 75 recipes using soyfoods including tofu, tempeh, textured soy protein, soymilk, miso, soy nuts, etc. Many of the recipes are quite common and simple to prepare. Others are more creative and may involve a bit more preparation time. Sample recipes include Peanut Butter Pie, No-Meat Loaf, and Soy-Sausage Breakfast Casserole.

Calciyum!

There are many color photos depicting the delicious recipes, including Creative Kale Dip, Wild Rice and Quinoa Salad, Hearty Soybean Burgers, and Peanut Butter Marble "Cheesecake." Other dishes include Chickpea Lemon Soup, Maple Poppyseed Dressing, Shepherd's Pie, Greens with Sundried Tomatoes, Candied Almonds, Butterscotch Pudding, and more.

Calciyum! is a great book for anyone trying to add non-dairy sources of calcium to their diet or simply looking for some new creative recipes.

Children will learn how to eat a wider variety of foods if they're involved in the growing process. This book encourages readers to eat seasonally and offers numerous gardening tips. You will also find helpful ideas for growing herbs.
