Summer Camp Jobs
Trail Blazers is looking for head cooks, assistant cooks, and kitchen assistants for
the summer of 2000. Trail Blazers is a 112-year-old decentralized program for
disadvantaged boys and girls from New York and New Jersey. The camp is located in
the Kittatinny Mountains of northwest New Jersey. It is situated on 1,000 acres of
forested land, complete with a 55-acre lake. Trail Blazers seeks dedicated, hard
working individuals capable of putting children's needs first. Children live in
small groups of nine campers and three staff members. Responsibilities include
planning and preparing food for 150 people. You must have experience in quantity
cooking and familiarity with whole foods. The job is available June 6th through

Bike Tour in Wales Provides Veggie Meals
For 18 years, Bicycle Beano has organized bicycle tours throughout Wales and the
Welsh Border Counties in England. In 2000 they will be running week and weekend
trips in Snowdonia, the Brecon Beacons, the Wye Valley, and the Pembrokershire Coast
National Park.
